About Nicole
Nicole Campanello is an artist + photographer, currently based in Houston, TX. A visual storyteller, she creates narrative images and series rooted in an exploration of the past, memories, and most recently, place.
Nicole’s work has been featured in shows at Pictura Gallery, Bloomington IN and Hallie Brown Ford Gallery, Roseburg OR and in group shows across the United States, as well as internationally, including Tilt Gallery, Scottsdale AZ, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins CO, and PH21 Gallery, Budapest, Hungary. Nicole has gained recognition placing in Photoludica’s Top 200 in 2016, and winning several exhibition (first place, best of show, and people’s choice) awards. Her photographs have been featured in publications, most recently SHOTS Magazine and Ain’t Bad Magazine.
Graduated summa cum laude with a B. A. in Photography + Studio Art from Sam Houston University in 2009.
